What is Kelsan® KELTRACK® / Kelsan® AutoPilot™?
Kelsan® AutoPilot™ is a top of rail friction control system that typically installs onboard a freight car. This friction control system is designed to spray Kelsan® KELTRACK® on the top of rail throughout your entire rail system. KELTRACK® optimizes the coefficient of friction on the wheel/rail interface and provides numerous benefits including fuel savings, increased rail life, increased track component life, reduced lateral forces, and reduced risk of derailments. What is Kelsan® KELTRACK® / Portec Rail Protector IV®?
Water based liquid friction modifier applied using a Portec Rail Products Protector IV® Top of Rail application system. When applied, KELTRACK® leaves a dry thin film on the top of rail. The Thin Film is transferred to passing vehicles wheel treads from the top of rail and provides friction control between the wheel/rail interface. KELTRACK® Trackside is intended for use in targeted curve locations in transit and freight systems.

OnBoard Passenger / High Speed Rail Gauge Face Lubrication System
Kelsan® LCF -Solid Stick Gauge Face Lubricant

What is Kelsan® LCF?
Solid stick lubricant applied directly to the wheel flange of a transit vehicle. The LCF material transfers to the wheel flange, and thence to the gauge face of the rail. A Thin Film is left behind on the gauge face of the rail that provides superior lubrication to the wheel/rail interface throughout the transit system. Kelsan® LCF solid sticks are applied using a spring loaded bracket/applicator assembly that is custom built for each customer. The bracket/applicator assembly is attached to the frame of the transit vehicle.
